ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION PROCESS

Year of Passing
Candidates who will be graduating in 2010 alone will be considered.
Academic Performance
60 % and above in Std. X, XII & 65% and above in Engineering.
Disciplines
BE/ BTech – CS, IT, IS and ECE branches only. Other disciplines won’t be considered for this process.
Colleges considered
Preference will be given to students who are from the Top Engineering Colleges.
EMC Proven Professional (EMCPP) certified candidates preferred.

How to Apply
Please send the suitable resumes to freshers_india@emc.com only with the subject line as “Fresher _ Name of the candidate” on or before 30th July. Resumes received through email id’s of EMC Associates will be given first priority. This recruitment will not fall under the Referral Bonus scheme.
The referred candidates who will be short listed for the test would be intimated directly about the selection process within the next 4 weeks.
Selection Process
The selection process involves a test for candidates who meet the criteria. Candidates who clear this test will then be short listed for a technical interview followed by a HR interview at a later date.
Please Note· The test will be conducted at a venue located outside the EMC campus.
· Candidates will have to come to Bangalore to participate in this test. We will not be conducting tests in other locations.
· The logistical costs to attend the test and interviews, if short listed will have to be borne by the candidates. EMC will not be reimbursing any expenses in this regard.

Resume Writing

Friends received a mail from Sonali, She has gone through most of our resumes after we mailed her the same fr the Employee Reference Programme(ERF).She felt that our resumes were not up-to the mark and this is wat she had to say,

Hi Madhu and other PC's,


There was a glaring issue that i found extremely disturbing about many applications that i got.

If you have a common forum for your class as well as for your juniors please see if you can publish or educate them with a session regarding Writing their Resume.

This is not about writing impressive resumes, but about the bare necessities. Please emphasize that it is first a fact sheet.

Please select some good models and showcase them to students. The main point is that the candidate must double check if all information about him/her is put into the resume. Eg:

2.FULL ADDRESS

3.CONTACT NOs.


4.COLLEGE


5.BRANCH


6.AGGREGATE
